The story of this practice 928 begins with a father, son, and browsing — in Poland. Tadeusz Elwart, supervisor of Chałupy 6 campsite and originator of the Hel Riders pageant, grew up serving to with their seaside campsite. Now develop and operating the enterprise, Elwart had his dream automotive within the storage — a Porsche 928. He and the Hel Riders staff got down to construct a novel seashore buggy able to hauling browsing gear and navigating the seashores of Poland. Constructed domestically, the 928 was styled by Lange & Lange, twin brothers who’ve been part of the Chalupy 6 scene for many years. The construct proved its mettle with its debut on the Hel Riders pageant, a visit to Germany for the Petro-Surf air-cooled Porsche pageant, after which to the island of Rømø in Denmark.
