A former NFL physician is giving his ideas on Christian McCaffrey’s newest damage. On Sunday evening’s Niners-Payments sport, McCaffrey went down with a non-contact leg damage.
49ers followers initially feared that McCaffrey might have torn his Achilles once more.
Thank seems to be just like Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson’s Achilles tears, the best way you see Mccaffery’s calf jiggle like that, his season is probably over and even probably his profession ????pic.twitter.com/NECQlEzfIU

Ex-NFL doc David Chao, higher often called Professional Soccer Doc, believes McAffrey sprained his proper PCL in his knee and didn’t tear his Achilles.
Through Sports activities Damage Central
“Fear for proper knee PCL sprain on a shoestring deal with within the first half of right now’s sport, doubtless not season-ending, is not going to want surgical procedure, attainable meniscus damage, excellent news is that it’s not a long-term damage and never an Achilles damage and won’t want surgical procedure, will want an MRI to find out actual nature of the damage, may very well be a 2-4 week damage”
Hopefully, Chao is correct, and McCaffrey can come again earlier than the tip of the season.
Replace: The Niners confirmed McCaffrey has a PCL pressure.
Kyle Shanahan mentioned Christian McCaffrey suffered a doubtlessly season-ending PCL damage.
