Mike Breen has had some unbelievable calls in his legendary broadcasting profession. His catchphrase, the easy “bang”, has entered basketball lexicon all the best way right down to your native pickup recreation.
However, regardless of all of his nice calls, he has had few pretty much as good because the one he needed to finish the primary half of Recreation 5 of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks. His name of Celtics guard Payton Pritchard’s half-court heave was completely good.
First, to set it up, Payton Pritchard has a penchant for making half-court pictures, and made one throughout Recreation 2. And, when he obtained a go on the finish of the primary half, Mike Breen more-or-less predicted that he would make this one. And, he didn’t want the backboard this time.
Take a hearken to this unbelievable name.
That’s Mike Breen at his best possible. Twitter was loving it.
“Right here is Pritchard. He loves these. Places it up. Halfcourt on the buzzer.”
Dramatic pause because the ball travels within the air.
“BANG! Pritchard with a 3-pointer on the buzzer! He is accomplished it once more.”

Pritchard’s shot gave Boston a 67-46 lead as they shut in on their 18th NBA Title. However, that play will all the time be remembered for Mike Breen’s name.
